ike most of our websites, this project was through a referral where some vintners had seen Cavaletti Vineyard's website, loved it, gave us a call and we took up the task of making them a wine website which was distinctly their own. Their founder, Jasen, wanted a website that paid tribute to his other career as a film and television editor. From the branding, colors and even the QR codes, we incorporated film strips and other flourishes to accomplish that very thing. The fun portion was animating a different film strip for each page of the site. Keen visitors will notice the subtle differences between each film strip across the website. The QR codes, which link to the website, can be found on each product sold by Sequence and also feature this unique film strip logo.
Sequence wines as a challenge to design because its needed to remain visually distinct despite the founders of Sequence drawing inspiration from our other Wine projects. Thankfully a darker set of colors within the final theming for the website as well as a flashy gold foil texture from the logo really sets this project apart from others we have done. Each small detail of this site really keep everything engaging.
